It wouldn't have happened without HASANZ

“It wouldn’t have happened without HASANZ” is the start of our annual report for 2019/20 and the conclusion reached by many of our supporters and partners. The HASANZ Year in Review 2019/20 highlights what the collective associations of HASANZ can achieve:

  • The HASANZ New Zealand Health and Safety Workforce Pipeline Report, providing comprehensive evidence of capacity and capability gaps over the next ten years
  • More than 40 HASANZ Scholarships awarded to date – applications for Scholarships for study in 2021 are open now and close on 14 September
  • 52% increase in HASANZ Registered Professionals
  • 45% growth in trained occupational hygienists.

A big welcome to our two new HASANZ Members: the Institute of Organisational Psychology New Zealand and the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM). Together, we will continue to harness the power of many to promote healthier and safer workplaces in New Zealand.
