Conference programme out now

It's professional development time! The programme for HASANZ CONFERENCE 2016 is out now and promises to be an outstanding opportunity for you to upskill and increase your knowledge as our new workplace health and safety regime demands.

You will leave the conference more informed and prepared to make a difference as a health and safety professional in this new order.

I'm aware that there are lots of calls on the CPD dollar. And I'm confident that attendance at HASANZ CONFERENCE 2016 is a good investment.

We've kept costs as low as possible to keep the entry bar low – $800 plus gst for early bird registration for the two day conference on September 7 & 8 and welcome function in the stunning Te Papa Marae the previous evening. This fee includes masterclasses with two of our international keynote speakers and a choice from 28 high quality presentations. HASANZ's call for papers was way over-subscribed and we had to turn down many good papers so you can depend on it that those in the programme earned their place there.

We've tailored the programme to appeal to both workplace health and safety professionals and the businesses that use them – providing plenty of time for you to network.

A bonus is the chance to meet the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, the Hon. Michael Woodhouse, at a reception he is kindly hosting in the Banquet Hall in the Beehive on the Thursday night. The Parliamentary reception is an optional extra you won't want to miss.

This conference is organised by the industry for the industry – I'm looking forward to seeing health and safety in a new light and learning with you at HASANZ CONFERENCE 2016.Registration is open now.
