Ron Gantt is Director of Innovation & Operations for US-based Reflect Consulting Group, which works with clients to release the adaptive potential of people to improve work. He specialises in helping organisations challenge old ways of thinking and stale safety practices to bring out the best in their people, creating excellence and innovation. Ron describes this as “creating the conditions for humans flourishing at work”.

Ron has 19 years of experience as a safety professional working with and in industries such as chemical manufacturing, utilities and construction. His experience includes safety by design and hazardous waste management. He has undergraduate degrees in Occupational Safety & Health and Psychology and a graduate degree in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management. Ron is also a Certified Safety Professional. He is a member of the Resilience Engineering Association and the American Society of Safety Professionals. In 2013 he was received the National Safety Council Rising Star In Safety award.

Ron’s areas of focus include safety management systems, human factors, social science, leadership, and organisational learning.
