Applications for the 2026 HASANZ Scholarships Open 3 July!

We’re excited to announce that the HASANZ Scholarship Programme is back for 2026 — and we’re looking for passionate people ready to take their health and safety career to the next level. Whether you’re just starting or ready to specialise, now’s your chance to apply.

This year, we’re offering scholarships across five categories:

• Health & Safety - For practitioners, representatives, or students aiming to gain a diploma, degree, or postgraduate qualification in health and safety.
• Poutama - For Māori health and safety professionals who want to deepen their skills and grow their impact.
• Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) – For women in health and safety ready to move into leadership and governance roles.
• Occupational Hygiene – open to people who wish to become an occupational hygienist or gain specialist qualifications or further training in this field.
• NEBOSH – open to people working in, or entering, health and safety who wish to gain a NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma. Supported by ITS and RRC International, this scholarship helps build practical skills and internationally recognised capability.

Applications open on 3 July and close at midnight on 25 September 2026.

Important: Applications must be submitted using the online form available on this site from 3 July. Submissions through any other channel will not be accepted.

This list intends to provide a helpful starting point for those looking for available courses. However, applications to study other tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety that aren’t featured on this list are also accepted.
