I have a scientific research background in peptide and protein research. I moved into health and safety as an inspector 2000, then in 2007 I moved to a busy occupational hygiene consultancy in Sydney, and later into a role as a technical specialist (work-related health) at WorkSafe NZ. In April 2025 I retired from WorkSafe and fulltime work.
